About Kjartan Knutson-Ho
Kjartan "Kiki" has been practicing Taekwondo since the age of six and has proudly called HK Taekwondo home since he was nine years old. Having grown up as a student in the program, he understands firsthand the positive impact Taekwondo can have on a child's confidence, character, and personal growth.
As a member of HK Taekwondo's Performance Team, Kiki specialized in poomsae and earned numerous accolades while competing at tournaments across the country. His passion for excellence and dedication to the sport have continued beyond the dojang. Today, he serves as the Head Poomsae Coach for the University of Texas Texas Taekwondo Team, where he helped lead the team to its seventh consecutive National Collegiate Championship in 2026.
While he is proud of his competitive achievements, Kiki's greatest passion is helping students discover their own potential. He believes every child deserves to feel encouraged, supported, and challenged in a positive environment. Whether a student is working toward their first belt, striving to become a black belt, or pursuing competitive goals, Kiki is committed to helping them succeed with patience, encouragement, and personalized guidance.
As an instructor at HK Taekwondo, Kiki is dedicated to building not only strong athletes but also confident, respectful, and resilient young people. He is passionate about creating a welcoming community where every student and family feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best.
